THRUST AREAS:

The Department is dedicated to promote teaching and research in diverse fields of political science. Presently, the department is offering Master’s programme. The outcomes are as follows:

•Develop comprehensive understanding of the subject

•Develop interdisciplinary knowledge by inter-linkages various political, economic and social issues and challenges

•Generate socially-informed knowledge and upliftment of marginalized communities

•M.A. Dissertation and its viva-voce was also introduced in 2015 to train the students in writing research papers
