Established in 2013, the School of Studies in Computer Applications at Shaheed Mahendra Karma University is committed to excellence in computer science education, research, and innovation. The school’s vision is to nurture competent professionals and leaders in software development, data science, artificial intelligence, and emerging areas of IT who contribute to the technological advancement of the region and the nation. We adopt a balanced approach that integrates theoretical foundations with practical, industry-oriented training. Our pedagogy combines conventional classroom teaching with modern learning tools, project-based learning, industry collaboration, and hands-on experience in well-equipped computer laboratories. Students are encouraged to develop technical expertise, analytical thinking, problem-solving skills, teamwork, and ethical values through seminars, hackathons, workshops, industry internships, group discussions, assignments, quizzes, and real-world projects. The school regularly updates its curriculum in alignment with National Education Policy (NEP) 2020, industry standards, and advancements in technology.
